Tarring The Ashby Streets

Progress is moving along with Ashby’s road renovation. As of Thursday, Sept 21st, at dusk tar was being applied to County 82 on the east end of town. It is hoped that the weather will hold, it’s supposed to, for continuation down Main Street.

Gene Jensen, long time resident of Ashby, was honored with an open house celebration Thursday, August 31 on his retirement. Gene has served as a dispatcher for the Grant County Sheriff’s Dept. for 27 years. Another farewell party had been at the sheriff’s office the previous day.
