Libero Koefod Digs 1000

Lady Arrows sophomore Courtney Koefod achieved her 1000th dig during their match against Hillcrest Comets. She is the daughter of Randy and Tammy Koefod and her position on the varsity team is libero. Congratulations Courtney! See page four for all their match action.

Knights Team Wins In Wadena

Friday, October 6th the West Central Area/Ashby Knights traveled to Staples for a Section 6AA match-up with the Staples-Motley Cardinals. The Cardinals were celebrating homecoming when the Knights arrived but it was WCAA doing the celebrating at the end of the evening as they routed the hosts by a score of 40-7.

Ukkelberg Places In USATF

by Emily Carlson After a successful end to the freshman’s first college track season at NDSU, incoming sophomore, Tony Ukkelberg, is ready to get back to training for next year’s season. He placed 4th for the decathlon at the USATF Junior Championships at the end of June in Sacramento, CA.
