Thursday, July 12 –
Game 1 vs Pelican Rapids –
Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound but OTC 13U Babe Ruth defeated Pelican Rapids 3-2. Tyson Misegades allowed just four hits to Pelican Rapids.
Game 2 vs Breckenridge –
OTC Dawgs fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 15-0 loss to Breckenridge.
Friday, July 13 In Evansville –
Game 1 vs Parkers Prairie
Despite seeing its eight-run lead whittled down by the end, OTC Babe Ruth still held off Parker Prairie for a 12-10 victory. Parkers Prairie scored seven runs in the failed comeback on a walk by Conner in the fourth, a walk by Holden in the fourth, a walk by Landon in the fourth, a fielder’s choice by Zach in the fourth, a single by Chase in the fourth, a error during Gus’s at bat in the fifth, and a groundout by Blake in the sixth.
Game 2 vs Pelican Rapids –
OTC Dawgs jumped out to an early lead over Pelican Rapids and took home a 14-10 victory. The Dawgs scored on a stolen base by Mason Hammer, a fielder’s choice by Tyson Misegades, a stolen base by Misegades, a single by Owen Buehler, a single by Jakob Kramer and a groundout by Hammer in the second inning.
vs Breckenridge Saturday, July 14 –
The 13U Babe Ruth Team from Otter Tail Central end their season with a 7-10 record after winning the last 5 of 7 games of their season. Unfortunately Breckenridge out lasted the Dawgs in the Semi-Final Game of District Tournament in Evansville.
