Six Turnovers Bolster Knights’ Victory

Friday, September 21st the West Central Area/Ashby Knight gridmen hosted the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines in Section 6AA action. Turnovers are an indescribable advantage in all athletics. A team will only have so many chances to score, when the opponent removes the playing piece prematurely this reduces chances for scoring points exponentially. Not only does it remove the chance of scoring for the team that loses the ball, it just gave the ‘takers away’ more opportunity to score and typically provides a shorter field to work with. As the caption above states….six turnovers, the Knights removed the ball from the hands of the Wolverines six times. Five by interception and once by a fumble.
