Battle Lake Summer Rec

Sixty-three Battle Lake area kids participated in an abbreviated version of Summer Recreation baseball and softball programs. We were happy to see them out on the fields, playing and enjoying being around other kids!

Practice time focused heavily on skills. The teams were able to participate in two scrimmages, one with New York Mills and one scrimmage with Henning.

The program was overseen by Leslie Setterholm and teams were coached by Carly Larson, Heather Akerman, Madison Foss, Conner Drake, Blake Alonzo, Buddy Kohlmeier and Wyatt Severson. (Not all participants are pictured.)

In addition, fifteen young Soccer fans were excited to participate in Soccer Camp in July. Coach Chrys Kirschbaum led them through drills and game-like situations. The fresh air and exercise were enjoyed by all!
