Randy Hamilton – Frazee, MN

Memorial Services were held for Randy Hamilton age 67, of Frazee, Minnesota Friday, November 5, 2021 at Karvonen Funeral Home in New York Mills, Minnesota officiated by Jeff Trites and Ted Hartman. Randy was laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery of New York Mills, Minnesota. Randall Frank Hamilton was born August 24th, 1954. Randall (Randy), son of Gerold and Nellie was born in Gordon, NE. He moved with his family in 1959 and resided on a farm North of Battle Lake, MN. It was during his teen years at Bible Camp, where he accepted our Lord Jesus into his heart. He attended Battle Lake Public School and graduated in 1972. Randy later had 3 children Rylie, Janean and Joshua and moved to Frazee. He loved driving truck and worked for many companies throughout the years. Randy was also employed with Burkel’s Turkey Farm during these years and then later with TEAM Industries until he retired, when his health slowed him down. It was here that Randy rekindled a loving friendship with Michele Heying he had met many years before. They worked together and started dating. He spent 20 years with his soulmate Michele and had many adventures traveling on motorcycle rides, exploring nature to-gether as they both enjoyed the outdoors. Randy had a fun-loving sense of humor and would tease Michele for her love of rock collecting and would make comments about “weighing his truck down” with her finds. He and Michele filled their hearts and hands with cuddles from their beloved fur babies, their dogs and cats over the 20 years: Jasper, Harley, Spencer, Cuddles, Snoop, Peanut, Maggie and Frankie. He spoiled them with lots of love and even a little bit of what he was eating too. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was very close to his mother making sure to call her each morning and evening. He also was a very generous man and was always there for his family and his many friends when they needed anything. He was a quiet man and a man of few words at times, but those words were always loving, kind and meaningful. October 29, 2021 Randy passed away at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota at 67 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Preceding Randy in death by his Grandparents Frank and Doll Hamilton, Frank and Allie Simms, and his father, Gerold Hamilton. He is survived by his Soulmate Michele Heying, his mother, Nellie Hamilton; and siblings, Beverly (Al) Albert, Kendall (Tomi) Hamilton, Barbara Hamilton, Sherril (Doug) Houser, and Michael (Deb) Hamilton; his children: Rylie (David) Biritz, Janean (Jason) Hamilton and Joshua (Lacy) Hamilton; along with 11 grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
