Grant County Historical Society’s Annual Meeting April 22

You could call General Theodore H. Barrett a renaissance man. He was a surveyor (the job that brought him to Minnesota), soldier, farmer and benefactor. The Village of Barrett was named after him but he is also well known for the thousands of acres of land he owned in southern Grant County and northern Stevens County.

Please join us Saturday, April 22 at 2 p.m. in the Sanford Room of the Elbow Lake Community Building. Birthday cake, coffee and lemonade will be served. The program and meeting are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
