Beach House Resort Condo Conditional Use

BATTLE LAKE Notice of Hearing on Conditional Use   Pursuant to City Code #152.064 of the City of Battle Lake, you are hereby notified of a hearing on a Conditional Use permit of the following nature:   Beach House Resort Condominium at 719 Lake Shore Drive.  The request is as follows:   This request is a small change to the Conditional Use Permit received for Unit 1 earlier this year.  The additional request is to extend the depth of the patio by 2 feet and straighten the driveway to the street on the new, previously approved home they are building on the Unit 1 parcel.  Total impervious space will not exceed 22% for the Beach House CIC.  Beach House CIC association members have approved these changes.   No other property changes will occur within the Beach House CIC and access to the 4 units will remain unchanged.   Details for the above application are available for inspection at the City Clerk’s office at 108 Main St East, Battle Lake, MN.  The Battle Lake Planning Commission will consider the Conditional Use Permit on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Battle Lake City Hall at 108 E Main, Battle Lake, Minnesota at 7:00 pm. to provide a recommendation for the City Council.  The City Council will hold a hearing at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at City Hall.  Any objections to the granting of this permit may be made in person or via remote access, at the time of said Hearing, or by a letter sent to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City on or before, Tuesday, August 1, 2023.     Remote access to either meeting can be received by contacting the City Clerk for log-in information.
