Dale M. Stenoien, 64, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died April 19, 2023. Dale Michael Stenoien was born October 11, 1958 to Vernon and Borghild (Wold) Stenoien. He was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa and attended school in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. He married Susan Christensen, moved to Hawaii and had two children, Riley and Emily. Dale enjoyed summer farm work at the Wold farm in Underwood, MN and he worked as a machinist in the Chicago area, specializing in plastic injection molds. In Hawaii Dale worked as a licensed electrician. He enjoyed reading, scuba diving, skiing, camping, hiking and riding his motorcycle. Preceding him in his death were his father, Vernon and his nephew, William Schaefer. Dale is survived by his mother, Borghild Stenoien of Woodstock, IL,; his children, Riley and Emily, who live in the Chicago area; his brother Dan (Anne) of Underwood, MN; sisters, Carol (Charles) Schaefer of Stillman Valley, IL and Barbara (Jack) Graefe of Naples, Florida. He is also survived by friends in Hawaii, Jamie Ater and Paul Lutz; and his faithful dog, Koa. A memorial service and internment will be at Rindal Cemetery near Underwood, MN at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023.
