Battler Akerman Marks 1,000th Assist; Lady Arrows, Battlers, Rockets Volleyball

Battle Lake –

Parkers Prairie was able to overcome a fast start by Battle Lake on Tuesday night to record a 3-0 (25-23, 25-10, 25-21) Little Eight Conference volleyball victory over the Battlers on the Panthers home court. The Battle Lake Battler Ladies matched up with the Hancock Lady Owls Thursday night in Battle Lake and took the win after a 5 game set.

Ashby –

Tuesday, September 12 found the team traveling to Rothsay to take on the Rothsay Tigers. The Tigers won the games 3-0. Thursday, September 14 the Ashby Arrow ladies hosted the Hillcrest Comets. The Hillcrest volleyball team defeated Ashby 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-10) in a Little Eight Conference match on Thursday night in Ashby.

Underwood –

Underwood defeated Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in a Little 8 Conference volleyball match on Tuesday, recording a 3-0 (25-9, 25-14, 25-22) sweep of the Warriors. The Underwood volleyball team hosted the Rothsay Lady Tigers in another LEC match on Thursday night and defeated Rothsay in 3 sets (25-14, 25-7, 25-15).
