Battlers 1 • Wolverines 3 The Battlers traveled to Graceville Tuesday, October 10. They took a loss after 4 hard fought sets (1-3).
vs. Hillcrest, October 12 Battlers 0 • Comets 3 The Hillcrest volleyball team recorded a 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-17) Little Eight Conference victory over Battle Lake Thursday night in Fergus Falls. However, the night was about much more than volleyball.
OTC Bulldogs –
Otter Tail Central traveled to Wheaton and defeated the Bucs in a cool, wet and windy game. The Bulldogs scored first when Lane Dilly rushed in from 4 yards out to cap a solid OTC drive. The two point attempt was no good. In the second quarter Border West got on the board with a 9-yard run and completed the 2-point conversion to give them a 8-6 halftime lead.
