Rockets Boys Lose, Girls Win Two/Lose One

Underwood had control from start to finish in their Little Eight Conference girls’ basketball contest with Ashby on Monday night. The Rockets led 36-9 at the half and went on to post a 62-24 victory over the Arrows. Willow Thiel established another new scoring record for the Perham girls’ basketball team as she poured in 38 points on Tuesday night to lead the visitors to a 67-60 win over the Rockets in Underwood.

The Underwood boys basketball team traveled to Wheaton to take on the Border West Buccaneers Thursday, December 7 for their first game of the season. The Border West Buccaneers built a 38-23 halftime lead and then held off the Underwood Rockets in the second half as they rallied to within 12 points before pulling away for a 67-55 win over the Rockets.
