City of Battle Lake Zoning Change Hearing

NOTICE OF HEARING ON ZONING CHANGE   Pursuant to City Code #152.069 of the City of Battle Lake, you are hereby notified of a public hearing on a request for a zoning change.  KAM Rev. Living Trust (Kurt Maethner) is requesting a zoning change from residential to commercial for the property located at 106 South Lincoln Avenue in Battle Lake, Otter Tail County, MN.  Parcel ID is 63000990061000.  The property use is currently residential rental with plans to transition the use of the property to commercial retail.       Additional details are available at the City Clerk’s office a few days prior to the hearing.    The Battle Lake Planning Commission will review the request on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Battle Lake City Hall and make recommendations to the City Council.  The City Council will conduct a hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the City Council Rooms.  Any objections to the granting of this variance may be made in person, at the time of said Hearing, or by letter received by the Clerk-Treasurer of the City on or before, Tuesday, February 6, 2024.   By order of the City Council Valerie J.
