Paul Loll, 74 of Battle Lake died Friday, March 15, 2024 at his home with his family at his side. Paul Charles Loll was born April 25, 1949 in Breckenridge, Minnesota the son of Raymond and Harriet (Milbrandt) Loll. The family lived in Bloomington where Paul attended Kennedy High School graduating in 1967. Paul served his country as a US Marine in Vietnam. He was in the Khe Sanh area as a radio operator, he was wounded spending a long time hospitalized and later returned to the states where he received an Honorable Discharge. With his injuries he was given many more years than expected. Paul married Patti Ann Phillips, and they lived in Bloomington, Great Bend, ND; Hankinson, ND before returning to Minnesota and living in Battle Lake. He enjoyed fishing and pool tournaments. He is survived by his son, Phillip Charles Loll; three sisters, Pat (Arvid) Haugen of Hankinson, ND; Linda Ferber and Gloria (Jerry) Wilm, both of Fergus Falls; two brothers, Bruce (Deeanna) Loll of Garland, TX and Keith (Brenda) Loll of Kewaunee, WI; and by numerous relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Patti June 12, 2018; and his parents, Raymond and Harriet Loll. A Memorial Prayer was 12 noon Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Veterans Memorial site by the Pelican Lake Cemetery in Ashby followed by full Military Honors by the Ashby American Legion Pederson-Tripp Post #357. Burial will be at a later date in Great Bend, ND. Glende-Nilson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Battle Lake was in charge of arrangements.
