SonJay Properties Conditional Use Hearing

Notice of Hearing on Conditional Use   Pursuant to City Code #152.064 of the City of Battle Lake, you are hereby notified of a hearing on a Conditional Use permit of the following nature:  SonJay Properties, LLC is requesting a Conditional Use Permit to construct a multi-family apartment building at 108 North Lincoln Avenue and to maintain the commercial zoning classification. The property is located at 108 North Lincoln and currently owned by Otter Tail County Community Development Agency.    Details for the above application are available for inspection at the City Clerk’s office at 108 Main St East, Battle Lake, MN by April 15th.  The Battle Lake Planning Commission will consider the Conditional Use Permit on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., at Battle Lake City Hall at 108 E Main, Battle Lake, Minnesota and provide a recommendation to present to the City Council .  The City Council will hold a hearing at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at City Hall.  Any objections to the granting of this permit may be made in person or via remote access, at the time of said Hearing, or by a letter sent to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City on or before, Monday, April 15, 2024.  Remote access to either meeting can be received by contacting the City Clerk for log-in information.
