Underwood School Board March 11, 2024 Minutes

The Underwood School Board Regular March meeting was held Monday, March 11, 2024, in the Conference Room. Present were Board Members: Wold, Meder, Waltz, Baker and Albjerg; Superintendent Wilson, Activities Director/Dean of Students Hovland and Business Manager Thieschafer. Absent: Sem. Visitors included: None. Wold, Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:45 a.m. with a quorum present. Motion to approve the amended agenda (Albjerg/Meder: MCU). Motion to approve consent agenda items including Minutes of the February 14, 2024 Regular Meeting; Expenditures/Financial Report; hire of Chad Gilbertson, K-12 Principal and retirement of Sandi Sheridan, 1.0 FTE Elementary Teacher (Albjerg/Meder: MCU). Hovland gave an Activities update. Wilson gave the Principal and Superintendent reports. Motion to approve school schedule, as presented, for the days of the Girls State Basketball Tournament (Albjerg/Waltz: MCU). Motion to post for a Curriculum Coordinator position starting the 2024-2025 school year (Baker/Wold: MCU). Motion to approve FY25 Achievement and Integration Budget as presented (Meder/ Waltz: MCU). Motion to approve the summer of 2024 projects (Waltz/Baker: MCU). Motion to adjourn (Albjerg/Waltz: MCU).
