BLACC Receives NBL Donation

Network Battle Lake (NBL) recently presented a $1,0000 donation to the non-profit Battle Lake Area Child Care Center for the “general fund” used by the board of directors to handle operating issues. The board is responsible for property inspections, insurance, annual tax reporting, lawn care, snow removal and repairs that come with a facility holding close to 40 daily occupants. Repairs and property maintenance costs are paid for with only tax-deductible donations to the 501(c)(3) and rent from Tiny Tykes (runs the day-to-day preschool and daycare operation).
