BLACF Awards BL Sr. Center Grant

The Battle Lake Area Community Fund (BLACF) awarded a $1,500 grant to the Battle Lake Senior Center to improve lighting at the center. Reba Gilliand and Candace Heathington (back middle/right), representing the BLACF Board, presented the check to Senior Center President Mary Murphy (back left) at a member meeting Friday, August 9 as Food Shelf Officers Gene Smith and Mayor Bullard (seated).
