Doris Ferguson – Battle Lake, MN

Doris Ferguson, daughter of Alice and Obert Floen of Battle Lake, MN; passed Monday, July 15, 2024, at 9 p.m. at the age of 93 years.
She was born November 24, 1930 in Vining, MN.
Doris leaves behind four children: Vicki Ferguson of Takoma Park, MD; Douglas Ferguson and wife, Cindy of Winona, MN; Carol Downey of Oklahoma City, OK and Jan Ferguson of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren: Whitney Downey, Tay-lor Downey, Josh Green, Michelle Green, Tyler Clark, Carter Ferguson and Brady Ferguson; and nine great grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her brother, Verlin Floen and wife, Laural, and their family; and a sister, Eileen Anderson and husband, Mark, and their family; as well as a brother-in-law, Marlo Thorstenson and his family.
She also leaves behind her grand dogs: Benny, Mandy and Zelda.
Doris was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Obert Floen; ex-husband and father of her children, Gordon E. Ferguson; infant brother, Robert Odean Floen; sister, Marilyn Thorstenson; daugh-ter-in-law, Donna F. Ryan; and son-in-law, Paul Dow-ney.
