Underwood Study Club Notes 90 Years

1924-1925: Underwood women decided they needed to have their own club. They wanted to be active in the Underwood community by promoting educational activities. They joined the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. One of their projects was The Centennial Park in 1981 became a special playground for the community. The Woman’s Study Club assisted with purchasing and caring for playground equipment, most recently adding handicapped accessible items.
