Kim Douglas Biederman, 70 of Clitherall, MN passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at home after battling cancer. Kim was born April, 10 1954 in Fergus Falls, MN the son of Robert and Ruby (Christianson) Biederman. He was baptized June 25, 1954 in Henning Parsonage Church and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. He attended Fergus Falls Public School and graduated in 1972 where he was very active in the Fergus Falls Swim Team. After high school, he drove bus for Fergus Falls Public Schools. Kim entered the U.S. Navy in 1974 and was Honorably Discharged in 1978. Kim worked in mines on the Iron Range and also for Mark Sand & Gravel. He owned Bonnie and Clyde’s Bar in Clitherall from 1982-2002. Kim and Debra met in 1983 and from then on, their love was established. Kim married Debra (Christenson) in July of 1993 in Clitherall and recently celebrating their 31st Anniversary. Kim’s memberships in-cluded being a member of the Association of Harley Davidson Riders for nearly 50 years as well as the National Rifle Association and First Lutheran Church in Battle Lake Kim loved motorcycles and spent many years attending the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota. He enjoyed deer hunting and especially cherished his time spent going north to his hunting cabin in Tower, MN. Kim collected millions of pennies, polished and collected rocks, and had an eye for adventure including scuba diving and snowmobiling. Kim was a very good friend and neighbor to all who came to know him. He is survived by his wife, Debra of Clitherall; children, Jason (Leslee) Lura of Renton, WA; Paul (Amanda) Jelle of Grand Rapids, MN; Riena Gruis of Hibbing, MN; Garrett Biederman of Fergus Falls, MN and Erika Biederman (Caleb Schmidt) of Underwood, MN; his brother, Kurt Biederman; two sisters, Jane and Mary; grandchildren, Devante (Na-talia), Aliyah, Christian, Gabriel, Caliah, Kaelynn, Elena and Kamdon; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Randy Christenson; aunt, Betty Christianson along with numerous relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents, Robert and Ruby Biederman; and sister, Brenda Biederman Visitation was Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Battle Lake, MN with a prayer at 7 p.m. and resumed one hour prior to service at the church. Memorial service was 11 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at First Lutheran Church in Battle Lake, MN with Pastor Lynn Melchior officiating. Interment was aat Nidaros Lutheran Cemetery of Clitherall, MN. Military Honors were provided by Navy Honor Guard.
