BL Senior Center Fund Raiser Big Success

The Battle Lake Lions Club had its annual meatball dinner to benefit Battle Lake Senior Center Tuesday night, November 12. The evening was a huge success with just shy of 300 people dining and approximately $5,500 received in donations. This year the event served as the kickoff to the Senior Center’s new furnace fund and the money will go towards two new furnace/AC units they need. They would like to thank the Battle Lake Lions Club for all their hard work and donation of supplies, the anonymous donor who paid for the ground beef, everyone who turned out and all the people who have donated.
