Dean Nelson Home Destroyed By Fire

The Dean and Colleen Nelson home in Battle Lake was destroyed by a wood stove fire Wednesday, November 13 at 12:39 a.m. They lost their nearly 40-year home including belongings, some pets and outbuildings. It is always a sad thing to happen to anyone and especially close to the holidays. Battle Lake, Underwood and Vining Fire Departments were on the scene.
