Holiday Spirit Is In The Air

uring the November meeting, members organized and put together Operation Christmas Child kits to be sent all over the world (above). Children stuffed socks, shirts, coloring supplies, hygiene kits, fishing kits and much more into boxes and sent them in time for the holidays.

Ron Wilcox, Gary Kelm, Jon Tamke and Jim Arvidson of the Birak Shrine Club distributed bags of toys to the Wadena, Perham and Fergus Falls Hospitals Monday, December 9. The toys are for children that might be hospitalized around the Christmas season and beyond. This project is spearheaded by the Zuhrah Flyers from the Zuhrah Shrine Center in Minnetonka. The Birak Shrine Club has over 65 members from the Otter Tail Lakes and surrounding areas. Pictured with the Shriners are some of the nursing staff at the Sanford Hospital in Perham. Submitted photo
