January ‘I Have GRIT’ Cape Winners

The month of January, Ashby Elementary School students focused on learning the affirmation “I Have GRIT”. Students learned that having grit is the ability to bounce back when things don’t go their way, as well as to strive to do their best work until the task is complete. They practiced setting goals to accomplish new things and identifying ways to grow in their mental toughness. They celebrated Arrows that exemplified true GRIT.
