BL Lions Awards, New Officers Named

Battle Lake Lions had their year end awards meeting and installation of officers. Officers for 2025-26 are President Pete Eggen, Vice Presidents Gail Hustad, Brian Kvebak and Stan Ekren; Secretary Sally Kvebak, Treasurer Connie Krusemark, Membership Chair Jon Tamke, LCIF Coordinator Sheila Scheer, Club Marketing Chair Gail Hustad, Lion Tamers Gary Widness and Jake Christenson; Tail Twisters Rick Mekalson and Kathy Neese; and Directors Mary Murphy, Dennis Quam, Doug Stave and Becky Koplin. Several awards were presented: Melvin Jones Award to Dennis Quam, Helen Keller Awards to Pete Eggen, Dave Neitzke, Mary Murphy, Sally Kvebak, Kathy Neese and Gail Hustad; Dream Catcher Award to Roger Wold, and Super Volunteer Awards to Chris Fegert, Stan Ekren, Rick Mekalson, Becky Koplin and Brian Kvebak. They meet every third Monday night at The Shoreline September through May and enjoy dinner. Submitted
