Lake Region Pioneer Threshing Reunion This Weekend

Sounds of machines working and dark smoke in the air will be noted Friday-Sunday, September 5-7 in Dalton as threshermen gather together for the 72nd reunion. This year’s show features John Deere Tractors and Equipment. Gates open daily at 6:30 a.m. Lots of things to do, see, eat and Parade of Giants at 1 p.m. daily. Saturday on the grounds is a pedal pull 10 a.m. and Blue Ox tractor pull 2 p.m.; and Sunday in the Ag Building is community worship 8 a.m. and queen coronation 4 p.m. Don’t miss the parade uptown Dalton Saturday at 11 a.m. See page eight for ads and more details.
