Before we look ahead to 2026, I want to start with a great big thank you. You said YES when the expansion project seemed overwhelming and the needs too great. You said YES when others turned away and hoped someone else would give. You sacrificed. You gave. You trusted in the mission, and you trusted that the people of the Humane Society of Otter Tail County would carry through on their promises. And because you said YES, the beautiful new shelter will open in early 2026 and provide a warm, loving, safe haven to thousands more dogs, cats, and critters for generations to come. For donors, big and small, for people who prayed, volunteered or have shown compassion to animals, This is Your Shelter and we can’t wait to share it with you.
