BL 542 Awards Grants

The Battle Lake 542 Education Foundation approved 19 grants and one mini grant for the current 2025-26 school year. Education grants totaled over $16,000 and were awarded to 17 different educators who applied and included Pre-K through 12th grade. Grants were awarded for projects that incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math and Literacy education with a focus on student needs and creativity in learning. The grants often encourage teachers to not only teach standards, but to show how the standards can be applied in innovative ways.
