Meet The Review’s area New Year’s Baby … Josie Ruth Schmidt was born Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Astera Health in Wadena. She was born at 5:10 p.m. weighing 5 lbs. 8 oz. and was 19” long. Parents are Evan and Tori Schmidt of Clitherall. Grandparents are Vicki Hull, Jeff Hull, Don and Jane Schmidt, all of Battle Lake. Great-grandparent is Pat Peterson of Battle Lake.
