Lions Community Service Awards

The Battle Lake Lions Club presented two Community Service Awards at their March 16 monthly dinner meeting. The club likes to recognized individuals and businesses that benefit the community/club in various ways.

Lion Gary Widness presented one award to Stuie Susag, employee at the Shoreline Restaurant. Gary is responsible for getting the PA and microphone system set up, and Stu offers his help in getting the equipment out of storage for each of the meetings.

Lion Jerry Begley presented one award to Janet Widness, Editor of the Battle Lake Review. She helps the club with the creation of a variety of posters and makes sure news stories are placed in the paper when submitted.
