South African Experience Continues

Day three began with a little different excitement level. Today we were shifting from management to trophy animals. The biggest of the bigs. Every hunter had a wish list including Troy, Bryan and Kevin. Many months prior to the trip, I (Kevin Fick) contacted Ant and said, “line up a tag for the largest antelope on the planet, I want the girls to see one up close”. I wanted to share the moment with a student. We had a contest in the weight room in which Courtney won. She would be joining myself in search of a Cape Eland. It was a long drive to Kaba Farms (Quest Ranch) but once there the property manager name Jaco began to describe how the eland hunt would work. It was very much wild west, in fact Troy named Courtney Wyatt and myself Doc Holiday. It was a crazy affair but ended in success.
