Shelter animals getting ready to step into their new home!

After months of wagging tails, crossed paws, and hopeful anticipation, the Humane Society of Otter Tail County is finally ready to stretch into its beautiful new home. The HSOTC expanded shelter is now days away from completion and if you listen closely, you can almost hear the happy chorus of future thumping tails echoing through the halls. Sunlit rooms, thoughtfully designed spaces, separate kennel runs with pulley doors, cat climbing walls, walk-in bathtub, medical treatment area, pocket-pet space, community room/indoor play space, and a doggie showcase are just a few of the highlights in the new space. But remember, this expansion was never about a “building”. It’s about hope, compassion and the belief that every animal deserves a safe place to land… Every animal deserves a second chance at a loving home.
